The social program was based around an evening of “The Dolce Vita” in the town of Pula, where the guests could try and taste Sardinian specialties during a “village festival” organized and dedicated to them. They were entertained by a group of Sardinian singers called Tenori who sang some of the most famous Italian song. The next day, the gala dinner was held in the Cruise liner terminal at the Ichnusa dock, a stunning location in the heart of Cagliari
We also organized the logistic aspects of the event and supplied hostesses in various languages for the congressional meeting in the hotel and the sponsors stands.

During their stay the guests were able to taste Sardinian recipes during two special dinners. The first in an important restaurant in the centre of town and the second at a delightful farmhouse restaurant just out of the town.

Tour of Sardinia
The tour of Sardinia included the main cities of Cagliari, Oristano and Alghero.
The participants, all passionate archaeologists visited the most suggestive locations on the island including; Barumini with it’s antique nuragic village, the Archaeological site at Nora, the treasures of the city of Cagliari, the Antas temple at Fluminimaggiore, Monte Sirai, Tharros, the Saccargia cathedral and the historical centre of Alghero.

This tour visited some of the most well known localities in Sardinia. Departing from Cagliari the group visited Carloforte and the area around Chia during an exciting jeep tour during which they had a picnic lunch with the shepherds. Moving on to Oristano and then to the north where they visited Porto Cervo where they tried some excellent wines at the Surrau vineyard. They then moved on to Alghero for the final stage of the tour.
For this group we supplied hotel accommodation, buses and guides for the duration.

Back to back groups for which we organized and supplied all the airport – hotel transfers, hostesses and airport assistance.
During the event we also supplied a shuttle service under the supervision of our staff, for both Cagliari and Pula.

Group of Norwegian customers for which we dealt with the booking of Hotel CatalunyaAlghero and all the necessary facilities for the convention.We also arranged for this group all transfers and leisure activities. A walking tour in the historic center of Alghero and a guided tour of the NuraghePalmasera followed by wine tasting and then lunch in a farmhouse in the countryside near the city.In the evening dinner at a typical restaurant in the city center.

ALLIANZ - 01 – 08 June 2013 -350 pax
For this large group of customers we organized four days of excursions, to give all the participants a chance to discover the beauty of the South Sardinia.
Each day started with a guided tour in Carloforte lunch of fresh local fish and an excursion aboard vintage sailboats with a stop for lunch at the beautiful beach of Tuerredda. We have also organized all transfers to and from the Cagliari Elmas airport under the supervision of qualified FA Travel staff.

Large group for which we organized in addition to transfers to and from the Cagliari Elmas airport also a two days of excursions. Divided into two subgroups each day guests could choose whether to visit the city of Cagliari accompanied by an expert local guide, or a fun jeep tour to discover the island's interior that features an organized lunch with the shepherds in the mountains.

International group of entrepreneurs in the textile sector for which we organized all transfers to and from the airport Olbia Costa Smeralda with the assistance of qualified personnel on arrival.The first evening a delicious welcome dinner was served at one of the restaurants of the historic marina of Porto Cervo. The next day, after a brief meeting at the hotel, the guests discovered the wonders of the marine park of La Maddalena during an excursion aboard a motor yacht chartered exclusively. During the day at sea as well as various swimming breaks in the fantastic coves and beaches we organized an aperitif on one of the uninhabited islands and a delicious “local produce” buffet lunch on board the yacht.The evening gala dinner at the beach of the Hotel Sporting in Porto Rotondo with musical entertainment. On the last day, the delegates participated in the General Assembly held at a modern winery in Arzachena while partners participated in a Sardinian cuisine cooking lesson or, a guided visit to the archeological site of Arzachena. The grand finale was lunch for both delegates and partners at the winery, during the aperitif, the Mamuthones folk group preformed their spectacular traditional dances.

Two Austrian couples decided to get married at the same time in Sardinia and for which we organized the following services: booking rooms at the Bajaloglia Resort, decorations on the beach for the ceremony and catering services as well as obtaining permits and authorizations necessary to regularize the rite.

SLOW ILHAS - 08 – 12 June 2013 - 27 pax
Group of Brazilian clients who have visited Northern Sardinia and for which we arranged transfers on arrival and departure from the Olbia Costa Smeralda airport to Porto Cervo and a visit to the archaeological sites of Arzachena and a day always in Corsica accompanied by an expert local guide speaking Spanish. We also arranged a bus for transport from the hotel to the centre of Porto Cervo allowing the guests time for an evening stroll.

For the fourth year in a row we dealt with the Secretariat of the Master BNL which was held at the Forte Village Resort. Through a dedicated Internet platform we collected the adhesions of all participants of the event, filled out the rooming list for the hotel and booked the flights. During the days of the event dedicated FA Travel staff dealt the welcome at the airport, and assistance both at the hotel at the airport for the departure of the guests.

FINAKI - 27 – 30 June 2013 - 200 pax
International group of consultants in the field of computer science research for whom organized transfers on arrival and departure from the airport of Olbia Costa Smeralda also providing a service supervisor both at the hotel at the airport with qualified FA Travel staff. One day was devoted to a boat trip in the beautiful archipelago of La Maddalena with lunch on board for the partners.The next day the guests were able to choose between: participating in a super jeep tour to explore the archaeological area of Arzachena with lunch in a modern vineyard in the area, take part in an exciting diving and snorkeling expedition, a round of golf, visiting Porto Cervo and the exhibition of Andy Warhol with an aperitif in the main square in Porto Cervo, or just catch the shuttle bus for shopping in Porto Cervo.
All activities were followed by professional guides speaking Italian, French and Spanish.

As additional services we also handled the booking of hotel rooms for the bride and groom and their guests and transfer services.

Our French group reached the Forte Village with deluxe motor coaches with the assistance of our speaking French hostesses. While participants were busy in the various meetings, the partners visited Cagliari and enjoyed an excellent menu of fish in one of the most typical restaurants of the city.
The whole group on the third day attended a treasure hunt in an inflatable boat that ended with a nice lunch in Tuerredda, one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Sardinia.

The group from Belgium has been welcomed at the airport by our speaking French assistants and was accompanied to Forte Village.
The second day was dedicated to culture and traditions of Sardinia: the guests reached the beautiful city of Cagliari and visit the ancient part of the city Castello. After the city tour, the group met for lunch in a beautiful location situated halfway between Cagliari and the Forte Village, surrounded by acres of vineyards with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Cagliari.
Lunch included several appetizers, typical Sardinian pasta and a mix of grilled meat.
Sports’ enthusiasts spent their time at the Is Molas Golf Club experiencing various tournaments.
Fa Travel organized the transfer to the airport and gave the maximum assistance throughout the event.


LXXXI Congress of Società Dante Alighieri- 20/22 September 2013 - 120 pax
The organization of this Congress in the city of Cagliari has been fully entrusted to the experience of FA Travel. We have been involved in the development of this event from the first day and together with the secretariat of the Dante Alighieri we were able to meet all program changes during construction, including the change of location due to the extraordinary visit of the Holy Father in Cagliari.
The Congress was held over three days followed by an evening social program and also in the following days.
A magnificent gala dinner in the vineyards with dancing and entertainment, cultural excursions and sea excursions for delegates and accompanying persons.
We have dealt with all the transfer services to and from the airport of Cagliari and all internal transfers to the event. We have provided multi-lingual support and a reception desk at the airport.
The support to Dante Alighieri Society staff was supplied 24h.

Fa Travel provided transfers from Cagliari Elmas Airport to various hotels throughout the city of Cagliari, where participants stayed. Guests reached the tennis club in the morning on comfortable buses and they were dropped off at the various hotels at the end of the matches.
All our assistants had an info desk in both hotels and during the event have held a number of roles: secretarial, press room, auditorium, etc.
The last evening a gala dinner took place at an old historic villa. Fa Travel provided assistance with its own qualified staff throughout the evening.
